Ahead of the final round, Roczen was the championship points leader. At the start of the Main Event, he crossed the holeshot line in second position, then took the lead in the very next corner. Roczen set the fastest lap of the Main Event and held the lead all the way to the finish.

The 2026 season was Roczen’s sixth season with the Suzuki RM-Z450. With this motorcycle, he secured the 2026 AMA Supercross Championship title, while three of his professional championship titles have been won on Suzuki RM-Z series motorcycles.
